TERMS AND BOOKNG CONDITIONS
Bookings
- This is a binding contract between the owner, nominated party leader and every adult member of the holiday party. All are deemed to have read and understood these booking conditions.
- No contract exists until we have acknowledged receipt of the signed rental agreement and the deposit payment has cleared our bank.
Pricing
- Our rates are quoted in Euro but payment is accepted in both Sterling and Euro. Currency conversion is based on the rate as published by HBSC on the date that each invoice is raised - no changes will be made to allow for currency fluctuations.
- A deposit of 30% of the agreed rental fees is payable at the time of signing the rental agreement with the 70% balance payable two months before your arrival date (unless late booking conditions have been agreed). Failure to pay the deposit in full will constitute a cancellation of the holiday by the holidaymaker
Cancellation by the holidaymaker
- In the event of a cancellation, notification must be made to us in writing. Where there is a qualifying reason for a cancellation, our refund policy, excluding the initial deposit is:-
- 29 to 56 days before start date on rental agreement 50% of rental
- 15 to 28 days before start date on rental agreement 25% of rental
- 0 to 14 days before start date on rental agreement 10% of rental
- A booking is also deemed cancelled (with no refund payable) if payment has not been made by the due dates.
- In the event of no qualifying reason for a cancellation no refund will be made, but the amount can be carried forward to be used against a future booking.
Cancellation by us
- In the event of an unforeseen incident, such as fire or flood damage to the property, which means the property is unavailable for the dates booked, we will issue a full refund.
- Our liability in the event of a cancellation will be limited to the holiday price.
Arrival & Departure times
- Access to the property is after 14.00 on the arrival date.
- The property must be vacated by 10.00 on the departure date.
- We appreciate knowing your anticipated arrival time so that we can make sure we are at the property to welcome you
Use of property
- The holidaymaker is expected to treat the property with respect and to compensate the owner for any breakages, damage or losses.
- The holidaymaker should maintain the property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found at the start of the holiday. The owner will be entitled to make an additional charge if this is not the case.
- The number of people sleeping in the property must not exceed the numbers stated on the rental agreement. Subletting is not allowed.
- The owner, or his representative, is entitled to ask the holidaymakers to leave the property (without prior notice and without a refund) if, in their reasonable opinion, the behaviour of any member of the holiday party is unacceptable and causes danger or distress to any third party or damage to the property.
Complaints
- Every care has been taken to give a full and accurate description of the property on this website. However, from time to time there may be changes or alterations to the furnishings but the standard will still remain the same.
- If you feel that, in any way, the property has been misrepresented please let us know so that we can remedy the problem
- In the event of any complaint/problem please let us know so that we can rectify the issue wherever reasonably possible
